Ralph Norman (R-SC), who recently announced a campaign to replace the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, told reporters Tuesday morning. \u201cReconciliation four, we ought to take advantage of cuts at every level. We\u2019re not getting 60 votes in the Senate. That\u2019s a given. We get 51 votes at best, so it\u2019s a good thing to do.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some lawmakers, however, aren\u2019t convinced a fourth reconciliation bill will even be feasible just months before the midterm elections.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019m not sure how realistic the closer we get to the election, I think it makes it harder to do it, so I\u2019m not sure how feasible it is,\u201d Rep. Victoria Spartz (R-IN) told the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>. \u201cI\u2019ll be honest with you, just to be able to get anything done at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"wex-inarticle-ad wex-inarticle-ad-art-dsk-inart-2\">\n<div class=\"wex-ad-wrap wex-ad-art-dsk-inart-2\" style=\"min-height:90px\"><span class=\"wex-ad-label\" hidden>Advertisement<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-3182201-16\" data-wex-ad=\"art-dsk-inart-2\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One GOP staffer told the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> that members are much more upset about the framework than they are saying publicly, and while the lack of spending offsets is a large factor, members are also disappointed their policy priorities are not addressed in the budget bill.   <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYou\u2019re not addressing the funding for Planned Parenthood issue, so for the pro-life community, that\u2019s important to us,\u201d Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) told reporters.\u00a0\u201cYou\u2019re not paying for it, which there\u2019s plenty of waste, fraud, and abuse that they could have easily found to pay for this, and then you\u2019re not addressing some of the key issues that Americans really want us to address, which is the affordability issues, and we\u2019re missing a huge opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Frustrations are mounting for some members, who complain the left-out priorities have become routine.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wex-inarticle-ad wex-inarticle-ad-art-dsk-inart-3\">\n<div class=\"wex-ad-wrap wex-ad-art-dsk-inart-3\" style=\"min-height:90px\"><span class=\"wex-ad-label\" hidden>Advertisement<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-3182201-17\" data-wex-ad=\"art-dsk-inart-3\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI was told these promises in [reconciliation] one, they didn\u2019t make it,\u201d Burlison told reporters. \u201cThey didn\u2019t make the cut. [Reconciliation] two ended up being a joke, and then here we are, [reconciliation] three, and with another skinny version, without doing the things that Americans want us to.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">House Budget Committee Chairman Jodey Arrington (R-TX) told reporters, when the framework was released, that the time constraint played a major factor in the slimmed-down third reconciliation bill.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe had the time, the luxury of time, in the Big Beautiful Bill to work through that and get at least a partial win for the pro-life movement,\u201d Arrington said. \u201cI was very happy about that.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wex-inarticle-ad wex-inarticle-ad-art-dsk-inart-4\">\n<div class=\"wex-ad-wrap wex-ad-art-dsk-inart-4\" style=\"min-height:90px\"><span class=\"wex-ad-label\" hidden>Advertisement<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-3182201-25\" data-wex-ad=\"art-dsk-inart-4\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat is the need right now for the highest order of the federal government\u2019s mission and its security, securing elections, securing the food supply, and supporting our troops for the coming defense,\u201d the chairman said. \u201cThat\u2019s it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The resolution includes spending instructions for four committees: the House Administration Committee at $10 billion, the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/house-armed-services-committee\/\">House Armed Services Committee<\/a> at $60 billion, the House <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/agriculture\/\">Agriculture<\/a> Committee at $12 billion, and the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/house-intelligence-committee\/\">House Intelligence Committee<\/a> at $13 billion.
