The cyclospora outbreak is spreading like wildfire across the country. There were roughly 300 cases nationwide just a week to 10 days ago; now there are more than 3,000 cases in the state of Michigan alone! Health officials in Michigan, one of the states hardest hit during the current outbreak, are beginning to suspect lettuce or salad greens may be responsible, although the investigation remains ongoing.<\/em><\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The most commonly reported symptom is \u201cwatery diarrhea with frequent and sometimes explosive bowel movements\u201d, according to <\/em>the CDC<\/em>.<\/em><\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n
