The FBI worked with Google to recover cached video from Guthrie\u2019s Nest doorbell camera that was not intended for long-term storage and was on the verge of automatic deletion. The Nest camera was disconnected at 1:47 a.m. on the evening Guthrie vanished. A little later, at 2:12 a.m., the camera\u2019s software detected movement. Investigators initially said there was no video available since Guthrie didn\u2019t have an active monitoring subscription to Nest, but experts were later able to access valuable footage of the elderly woman\u2019s suspected killer, who remains on the loose nearly six months after she went missing.\u00a0Patel said investigators worked with Google to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/FBIDirectorKash\/status\/2021281103454072983\">recover the footage<\/a> from \u201cresidual data located in backend systems.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FBI believes the suspect is a man between 5\u20199\u201d and 5\u201910\u201d tall, with an average build.
