He believes he would make a \u201cgood president\u201d and thinks he could be successful in the role. Lemon commented on the current pool of political candidates, suggesting many lack experience, and criticized current leaders like Donald Trump for not listening to others during their tenure. He mentioned wanting to run without <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >needing significant fundraising efforts<\/a> and is exploring the possibility with advice from political contacts, deciding closer to the 2027 or 2028 election cycle. Frontrunner potential candidates include Vice President <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/jd-vance\/\">JD Vance<\/a>, Secretary of State <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/marco-rubio\/\">Marco Rubio<\/a>, and Gov. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/ron-desantis\/\">Ron DeSantis<\/a> (FL) for Republicans. For the Democrats, potential names include Gov. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/gavin-newsom\/\">Gavin Newsom<\/a> (CA) and Gov. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/josh-shapiro\/\">Josh Shapiro<\/a> (PA).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lemon, a frequent Trump critic, said the potential candidates appear to lack political experience and argued that President <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\">Donald Trump<\/a> could have done a better job in office had he listened to others.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt seems in this day and age, you don\u2019t have to have a ton of political experience.
