Leavitt highlighted ongoing efforts, including meetings and monitoring, to trace the outbreak, which has affected 34 states, notably Michigan with over 3,300 cases. The illness causes symptoms like diarrhea, nausea, and fatigue, with 141 hospitalizations reported nationwide and no deaths.
