Despite these shifts,65% of Trump voters believe the country would be worse off if Democrats had won. The poll indicates a thinning coalition for Trump, with many supporters feeling their economic conditions have worsened under his policies, not out of loyalty but due too economic issues like rising prices and tariffs. Meanwhile, Harris remains a prominent figure with strong fundraising prospects for her potential 2028 presidential run. The article also touches on GOP internal disagreements, notably concerning fiscal policies and spending with no agreed-upon budget cuts. Additional commentary includes humorous remarks about Joe Biden’s ice cream habits and insights into political dynamics among Republicans and Democrats, emphasizing challenges ahead in the upcoming elections.

Welcome to Thursday’s Washington Secrets.
