These candidates, endorsed by President Donald Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson, are running in key battleground districts across the country. The &#8220;MAGA Majority,&#8221; formerly known as &#8220;Young Guns,&#8221; consists of NRCC-supported candidates committed to conservative policies aligned with Trump&#8217;s agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats are attempting to flip the House after recent setbacks, but Republican confidence is bolstered by strategic redistricting and the rise of socialist-leaning candidates within the Democratic Party. NRCC Chairman Richard Hudson emphasized that Republicans are fielding a strong roster of candidates who are experienced and aligned with \u201cAmerica First\u201d principles.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, the NRCC is backing seven targeted candidates, including Porter County commissioner Barb Regnitz in Indiana, Amir Hassan in Michigan, and others in districts in New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, and Texas. John James\u2019s (R-MI) seat after the House Republican made a bid for governor, leaving the seat open in the suburban Detroit-area district.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anthony DiLorenzo scored the president\u2019s endorsement on Monday and is running for the seat vacated by Rep. Chris Pappas (D-NH) as he runs for Senate. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), Congress\u2019s longest-serving woman, with Derek Merrin after the state led a mid-decade redistricting effort.
