The recall affects models from 2020 to 2024 and is a follow-up to a previous recall earlier in 2024 for the same issue. The problem stems from the slide cover or knob of the seat\u2019s power mechanism potentially becoming dislodged if hit accidentally, leading to overheating and melting of the seat motor. As a safety measure, affected vehicles must be parked outside away from structures until repairs are completed. So far, seven seats have caught fire and eleven motors have melted.
