Despite a judge\u2019s order to keep a confession note confidential until jury selection, images of the note were momentarily shown on a livestream, revealing that it was addressed to robinson\u2019s roommate and romantic partner, Lance Twiggs, and included a remorseful message about the killing. Robinson allegedly wrote in the note that he was sorry and admitted to taking Kirk\u2019s life. We don\u2019t even have a jury yet,\u201d Rahmani said, adding that the judge\u2019s probable cause determination will not hinge on whether the images were briefly displayed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said the issue could, however, become part of jury selection in the <a
