The D.C. Circuit Court, however, concluded the Trump administration \u201cfailed to support this assertion with any specific facts or evidence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, DOJ lawyers alleged a new entity called the Trump Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Foundation would have to return all money \u201craised or committed\u201d if Trump\u2019s name is not restored on the center\u2019s facade. The appeals court said the DOJ never raised that argument in the lower court and that the department\u2019s lawyers \u201chave given no explanation for failing to do so.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The higher court also disagreed with the DOJ\u2019s assertion that removing Trump\u2019s name would \u201csquander\u201d time and expenses.
