Are Using Tactics of the Marxists of 1917 in Russia to Steal 2020 Election\">free health care<\/a>, so add the cost of that \u201cfree\u201d program to the cost of \u201cfree\u201d health care. Let a million Quality Learing Centers bloom.<\/p>\n<p>Controlling medicine and child care, Democrats also plan to control other major industries. New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, the moral and intellectual leader of the party in a moment when all the national politicians are as smart as Mazie Hirono or as appealing as Amy Klobuchar, has said explicitly that his goal is to \u201cseizing the means of production.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure>\n<p><span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Zohran Mamdani: Seize The Means of Production\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WAWmaC-4vAY?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><\/span> <\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>They\u2019re not kidding. One of Mamdani\u2019s allies, the congressional candidate Claire Valdez, wants to \u201cnationalize the airline industry,\u201d turning United and Delta and American and JetBlue and Southwest into Federal Government Airways. <\/p>\n<figure>\n<p><span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Candidate Corner: Claire Valdez\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iAF6ulPwSyc?start=129&#038;feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><\/span> <\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Acting on the opposition to private property controlled by its owners, Mamdani has <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/article\/2026\/06\/26\/new-york-rent-freeze-stabilized-apartments-zohran-mamdani-housing-promise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">instituted<\/a> a rent freeze in New York City, \u201ccovering both one-year and two-year leases for people living in about 1 million rent-stabilized apartments, which make up about 27% of the overall housing stock across New York City\u2019s five boroughs.\u201d Housing prices are to be set by government. Where you live and how much you pay for it should be a government program. <\/p>\n<p>This transition to government-managed housing will intensify in a hurry. Mamdani\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nyc.gov\/content\/dam\/nycgov\/nyc-main\/pdf\/2026\/block-by-block-report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">detailed housing plan<\/a> centers on the promise of \u201cputting the public sector in the driver\u2019s seat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Opposing private industry, Democrats oppose the private wealth it produces. In the People\u2019s Republic of California, a <a href=\"https:\/\/billionairetaxnow.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">proposed tax<\/a> on the net worth of billionaires is quickly drifting downward. A July 2 <a href=\"https:\/\/rokhannausa.substack.com\/p\/why-i-support-a-billionaire-wealth\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">essay<\/a> from California Rep. Ro Khanna, a <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/06\/24\/the-disingenuous-schemer-ro-khanna-is-a-model-democrat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">spectacularly cynical<\/a> Silicon Valley Democrat, called for a dramatic expansion of federal welfare programs on the back of a federal tax that \u201chas to reach all fortunes $50 million and up.\u201d Wealth is for <em>government<\/em>. It has to be transferred into the hands of centralized power, to give the masses their \u201cfree\u201d programs.<\/p>\n<p>In his disgusting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=XcxRUkGAM-w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">speech for Independence Day<\/a>, Mamdani depicted an America defined by terror, oppression, and oligarchic theft: \u201cWe see the wealthiest country in the history of the world, one where children go to sleep hungry while the world\u2019s first trillionaire hungers for more. We see monopolies that dominate every industry and oligarchs who buy elections. We see masked agents terrorizing our streets, eating food cooked by our undocumented neighbors before spiriting them away in unmarked vans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>None of this means <em>anything at all<\/em>. Monopolies \u201cdominate every industry?\u201d How many airlines can you choose from? How many competing companies offer you gas for your car? How many kinds of breakfast cereal can you buy, from how many different stores? <\/p>\n<p>Mamdani wasn\u2019t trying to <em>describe<\/em> America. He was trying to demonize and demagogue, to depict a nation of private industry as something dark, cruel, and dangerous. He was trying to sell massive government power as kindness, fixing all the faked-up plutocratic domination. <\/p>\n<p>This is where Democrats are. They\u2019re all-in on giant government, and entirely opposed to private property, private enterprise, and private lives. They\u2019ve embraced state power like a jealous lover. <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a dismal gang of brutally stupid adult children who have made a living as shameless grifters by warning you that Donald Trump is an aspiring dictator who yearns to implement authoritarianism. They keep inventing fake panics to sell that idiocy, while Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2026\/07\/03\/nx-s1-5877408\/former-usaid-head-grieves-its-closure-while-hoping-for-its-future\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">eliminates<\/a> whole government agencies and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pewresearch.org\/short-reads\/2026\/03\/13\/federal-workforce-shrank-10-in-trumps-first-year-back-in-office\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sharply reduces<\/a> the size of the federal workforce.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s not going far enough, and congressional Republicans are trailblazers in the art of uselessness. Federal deficits persist, and the crisis of federal debt is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usdebtclock.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">getting worse<\/a>. But Trump is the only president in your lifetime or mine who has worked to make the federal government smaller and less powerful in any practical way, and only idiots and con artists pretend to think he\u2019s an authoritarian.<\/p>\n<p>You can have Trump or you can have Mamdani-era Democrats who explicitly intend to confiscate private wealth, seize the means of production, and run society directly and forcefully through the instrument of government power. The fools who warn that you have to vote for Democrats to save us from Trump\u2019s authoritarianism are trying to herd you into <em>real authoritarianism<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>Anyone who\u2019s still pretending that this isn\u2019t the actual choice has now transitioned from being a shameful clown to being a real danger. The tediousness of Bulwark Never-Trumpism and David French\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >infantile socialist-worshipping coprophilia<\/a> is becoming something else entirely.
