The group\u2019s initial plan, according to Kent, was to free all of the illegal immigrants jailed inside the ICE detention center in Alvarado by shooting their way out in an armed uprising. Though she acknowledged her own affiliation, Kent stopped short of personally identifying as antifa, insisting that she only assisted the cell in a supportive capacity after the fact.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An antifa <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/prairielanddefendants.com\/press-release\/press-release-august-13-2025\/\">blog post<\/a> said Kent \u201cactively\u201d played a part in raising legal defense funds for the suspects. To date, the fundraising campaign has collected <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.givesendgo.com\/supportDFWprotestors\">more than $188,000<\/a> from mostly anonymous donors.
