Additionally, 38.3% of Zoomers, 42.5% of Gen Xers, and 44.4% of Boomers reportedly bought a home by age 25 as of last year.<\/p>\n<p>Around 28% of Haitian refugees in the U.S. were homeowners in 2023, <a href=\"https:\/\/cmsny.org\/venezuelan-and-haitian-tps-beneficiaries-contribute-to-the-nation-and-should-not-be-deported\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according<\/a> to the Center for Migration Studies (CMS), which is roughly 5% higher than CMS\u2019s pre-Biden administration <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/publication\/318573552_A_Statistical_and_Demographic_Profile_of_the_US_Temporary_Protected_Status_Populations_from_El_Salvador_Honduras_and_Haiti\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2017 rate<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Obama administration initially granted Haitians TPS after a 7.0 magnitude earthquake\u00a0devastated Haiti in 2010. Haiti\u2019s TPS was extended <a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalregister.gov\/documents\/2023\/01\/26\/2023-01586\/extension-and-redesignation-of-haiti-for-temporary-protected-status\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">multiple times<\/a> until expiring under the first Trump administration in 2019, The Daily Caller previously reported.
