Right now, U.S. Rep. Wesley Bell is actually taking on ICE, and he\u2019s fighting to lower costs on housing, gas, and groceries, too. Fighting against Trump, fighting for St. Louis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The contest may not be as pricey as last cycle. The organization has so far reserved $330,000 in advertisements, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AdImpact_Pol\/status\/2072341216088232123\">according to<\/a> AdImpact. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Justice Democrats, a progressive group backing Bush that has netted several wins this cycle, said in response to the ad reserve, \u201cSo it begins. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Erin Covey of the Cook Political Report told the <em>Washington Examiner <\/em>the results \u201cshould certainly be a warning sign for of America will translate to momentum for Bush specifically, who, as a former House member, is a known quantity to voters.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cShe\u2019s coming in with some baggage too, so you know it\u2019s hard to say if that ends up \u2014 her being a former member ends up being a net negative or a net positive,\u201d Covey said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the 2024 cycle, Bush faced scrutiny over hiring her husband as her security detail and was also the subject of a Justice Department <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/congress\/justice-department-investigating-rep-cori-bush-campaigns-use-security-rcna136377\">investigation<\/a> for using
