Brandon Jones-Adams impregnated a junior enlisted soldier when the two became romantically involved on rotation in South Korea in May 2025. A couple of months later, the pair was reassigned to Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington.<\/p>\n<p>It was there in August 2025 that the 34-year-old captain, in what army prosecutors called a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stripes.com\/branches\/army\/2026-06-25\/army-captain-sentenced-death-unborn-child-22076216.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cdeliberate, calculated, and malicious\u201d<\/a> act, spiked his partner\u2019s drink with abortion drugs that sent her to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.army.mil\/article\/293539\/army_officer_pleads_guilty_during_trial_at_jblm_to_killing_his_unborn_child\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">emergency room with severe cramping.<\/a> The soldier reportedly suspected that Jones-Adams drugged her after noticing residue in the bottom of her cup.<\/p>\n<p>According to a forensic examination of Jones-Adams\u2019 phone, the captain tried repeatedly leading up to the poisoning to obtain the most popular chemical abortion means, mifepristone,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.army.mil\/article\/293539\/army_officer_pleads_guilty_during_trial_at_jblm_to_killing_his_unborn_child\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> \u201cfrom other sources.\u201d<\/a> When those failed, he enlisted a fake name to order the abortion pills online, a move only made possible by the Trump FDA\u2019s continuation of the Biden administration\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/03\/05\/selling-abortion-pills-bloodies-the-hands-of-walgreens-and-cvs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">radically relaxed mail-order <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/chrissmith.house.gov\/news\/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=398811\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">abortion pill policies<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of the abortion pill poisoning, the junior soldier was 13 weeks pregnant, more than three weeks further along than the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.accessdata.fda.gov\/drugsatfda_docs\/label\/2023\/020687Orig1s025Lbl.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">10-week gestation limit<\/a> set in the U.S. Food and Drug Administration\u2019s mifepristone prescription requirements. <\/p>\n<p>Already, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/04\/28\/study-rate-of-serious-or-life-threatening-complications-after-abortion-pill-is-22-times-higher-than-fda-claims\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">one in 10 women<\/a> who take mifepristone suffer a serious adverse event such as hemorrhage or infection. Data also indicates that the estimated hundreds of thousands of women who down those abortion pills each year <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/06\/12\/women-report-not-enough-info-given-about-bleeding-pain-mental-anguish-before-taking-abortion-pill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">don\u2019t feel fully informed<\/a> about the physical, mental, and emotional effects linked to chemical abortion.<\/p>\n<p>Jones-Adams ultimately <a href=\"https:\/\/www.army.mil\/article\/293539\/army_officer_pleads_guilty_during_trial_at_jblm_to_killing_his_unborn_child\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pleaded guilty<\/a> to murdering his unborn child, domestic violence, fraternization, and conduct unbecoming an officer shortly after admitting to investigators in the Department of the Army Criminal Investigation Division that he spiked his pregnant girlfriend\u2019s drink with abortion pills. He was not only sentenced to serve the maximum prison time for his plea bargain, but is also dismissed from the army without pay or <a href=\"https:\/\/militarypay.defense.gov\/pay\/ALLOWANCES\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">allowances<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy committing these crimes, he inflicted profound harm on his victim and betrayed the trust placed in him as an Army officer. Today\u2019s sentence holds him accountable for his conduct and provides a measure of justice and closure for those harmed,\u201d Circuit Chief Lt. Col. Tyler Heimann, Sixth Circuit, Army Office of Special Trial Counsel, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stripes.com\/branches\/army\/2026-06-25\/army-captain-sentenced-death-unborn-child-22076216.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said in a statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat Mr. Jones-Adams did was a disgusting act that killed an unborn child and violated the victim\u2019s trust and autonomy in the most personal way,\u201d Special Agent in Charge Michele Starostka of Army CID\u2019s Western Field Office <a href=\"https:\/\/www.army.mil\/article\/293539\/army_officer_pleads_guilty_during_trial_at_jblm_to_killing_his_unborn_child\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">added<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p>The prevalence of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/buttigieg-admits-abortion-frees-up-men-to-be-sexual-degenerates\/\" title=\"Buttigieg Admits Abortion Frees Up Men To Be Sexual Degenerates\">mail-order mifepristone<\/a> has paved the way for abuse and injury to plague women who wanted to keep their babies.
