continued U.S. support for Israel amid recent conflicts in the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/middle-east\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"102\">Middle East<\/a>, including the Israeli military\u2019s war with Hamas in <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/gaza\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"217\">Gaza<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI mean, if you make $60,000 a year, you\u2019re degraded,\u201d he said. \u201cYour life expectancy has gone down, and the promise of your children\u2019s lives is likely gone. No one seems to care. It\u2019s not even a factor. \u2018What about Hamas?\u2019 I officially don\u2019t care about Hamas. The U.S. government should have, as its first priority, the welfare of its own people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While he once voted for Republicans, Carlson now finds himself politically homeless. He doesn\u2019t find the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/democratic-party\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"288\">Democratic Party<\/a> attractive, either. In fact, he considers Republicans and Democrats part of a \u201cone-party state\u201d due to their involvement in foreign affairs.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wex-inarticle-ad wex-inarticle-ad-art-dsk-inart-2\">\n<div class=\"wex-ad-wrap wex-ad-art-dsk-inart-2\" style=\"min-height:90px\"><span class=\"wex-ad-label\" hidden>Advertisement<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-3182201-16\" data-wex-ad=\"art-dsk-inart-2\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI do know what really matters is war and finance. Where does the money come from? Where does it go? And who gets killed?\u201d he asked. \u201cAnd on those questions, the parties are in lockstep solidarity with each other. That\u2019s not a democracy. That\u2019s a one-party state posing as a democracy, and it needs to be broken, and there\u2019s going to be a third party, and I\u2019m going to do everything I can to bring that about.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd that\u2019s the lesson of the last two and a half months, to me,\u201d he said. \u201cIf you vote for Trump and you still wind up in a regime-change war \u2014 if Chuck Schumer is strongly behind Trump\u2019s foreign policy, which he is \u2014 then we need options, or else let\u2019s just give up and be ruled by the most unscrupulous people. And I\u2019m just too young to accept that. We need a third party.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Months after resigning from <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/congress\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"31\">Congress<\/a> earlier this year, former Rep. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/marjorie-taylor-greene\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"776\">Marjorie Taylor Greene<\/a> no longer considers herself a Republican. It\u2019s not what I\u2019m interested in.
