The town is <a href=\"https:\/\/bestneighborhood.org\/conservative-vs-liberal-map-carmel-in\/\">split almost 50-50<\/a> Republican and Democrat, which stands out in the largely conservative state where only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zipdatamaps.com\/counties\/state\/politics\/map-of-partisan-voting-index-for-counties-in-indiana\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">four out of 92<\/a> counties lean Democrat. Yet the city is still small enough, rural enough, that one would not expect an inconspicuous \u201cpride\u201d festival that popped up in 2021 to become the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wishtv.com\/podcast-episode\/celebrating-pride-carmel-pride-celebrates-its-fifth-year\/\">second-largest<\/a> such event in the state, attracting an estimated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indystar.com\/story\/entertainment\/events\/2025\/06\/23\/teen-led-carmel-pride-expects-record-attendance-in-2025-lgbtq-lgbt-june-month-hamilton-county\/84165471007\/?gnt-cfr=1&#038;gca-cat=pp&#038;gca-ds=override\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">6,000 people<\/a> last year and <a href=\"https:\/\/fox59.com\/news\/carmel-pride-attracts-national-headliner-for-festival\/\">hosting a former RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race contestant<\/a> this year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The question is, how? How does LGBT propaganda infiltrate conservative states and areas, turning them into <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >sensual celebration grounds<\/a>? The answer: through children backed by big billionaires.<\/p>\n<div id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-2275468548\" class=\"d-flex justify-content-center fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 fdrlst__b89e9-entity-placement\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The annual Carmel Pride Festival started in 2021 when a group of high schoolers in the <a href=\"https:\/\/defendinged.org\/incidents\/carmel-high-school-receives-10000-to-produce-community-wide-pride-events-schools-gsa-club-creates-fundraiser-for-transgender-student-to-leave-mothers-house-without-her-knowing\">Gender and Sexuality Alliance club<\/a> (GSA) at their local school decided to create a \u201cpride month\u201d celebration for the city. Around <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carmelpride.org\/about\">2,500 people showed up<\/a> at the modest student-run celebration. The next year, the group of teenagers reached out to <a href=\"https:\/\/itgetsbetter.org\/\">It Gets Better<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/itgetsbetter.org\/meet-the-grantees-2\/\">received $10,000<\/a> to put toward their next \u201cpride\u201d event.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It Gets Better is a nonprofit organization that targets children to promote LGBT ideologies \u201cto uplift, empower, and connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth around the globe,\u201d its <a href=\"https:\/\/itgetsbetter.org\/about\/about-our-work\/\">website states<\/a>. Through its 50 States. 50 Grants. 5000 Voices program, the organization gives <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/the-it-gets-better-project-announces-recipients-of-500k-grant-initiative-benefiting-lgbtq-youth-301576126.html\">hundreds of thousands of dollars<\/a> to \u201cmiddle and high schools throughout the United States\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/itgetsbetter.org\/about\/50states-50grants\">to support<\/a> \u201cprojects that uplift and empower LGBTQ+ students.\u201d While reporting on the grant project, PR Newswire bragged that the money went to \u201cmany traditionally conservative areas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The GSA club in Carmel seems to have received continual funding since 2022 from It Gets Better. An <a href=\"https:\/\/youarecurrent.com\/2022\/08\/25\/carmel-high-school-students-receive-10k-grant-to-fund-2023-carmel-pride-event\/\">article<\/a> from 2022 confirms the club received another $10,000 in support for the 2023 event, and the Carmel Pride website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carmelpride.org\/\">currently gives<\/a> \u201ca big thank you\u201d to It Gets Better under the list of 2025 donors. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-york-lawmaker-pushes-sex-ed-overhaul-teaching-gender-identity-to-5-year-olds-anal-sex-to-11-year-olds\/\" title=\"New York Lawmaker Pushes Sex Ed Overhaul: Teaching \u2018Gender Identity\u2019 To 5-...-Olds, \u2018Anal Sex\u2019 To 11-...-Olds\">left-wing activist group<\/a> the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/american-civil-liberties-union-aclu\/\">American Civil Liberties Union<\/a> and the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/newdawnsurrogacy.com\/parents\/lgbtqia-parents\/\">gay-owned<\/a>\u201d pro-LGBT surrogacy agency New Dawn are also listed among the donors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of It Gets Better\u2019s biggest donors is American Eagle. On It Gets Better\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/itgetsbetter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/ItGetsBetterAnnualReport2024_FINAL.pdf\">financials<\/a>, it lists American Eagle as a \u201cGround Shaker\u201d for giving more than $100,000 in 2024 alone. The fashion company recently tried to appeal to conservatives through its <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/08\/01\/sydney-sweeney-has-great-jeans-is-an-admission-that-woke-marketing-was-a-mistake\/\">Sydney Sweeney ads<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A vast swath of cosmetic brands that support LGBT marketing also back It Gets Better, including MAC VIVA GLAM under the Est\u00e9e Lauder Companies Charitable Foundation, Bath &#038; Body Works, e.l.f. Cosmetics, and Ulta Beauty Charitable Foundation, among many others. The latter two organizations gave at least $50,000, while the other contributed $100,000 or more in the past year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One common denominator between the cosmetic brands and American Eagle is their ties to BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street, or the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/icfs.com\/specialists-desk\/big-three-blackrock-vanguard-state-street\">Big Three<\/a>.\u201d The asset firms hold about a fourth of each of the above companies that fund It Gets Better when their shares are combined, and all three firms are known for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrc.org\/resources\/employers\/search?q=BlackRock\">pushing<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/corporate.vanguard.com\/content\/corporatesite\/us\/en\/corp\/why-vanguard\/who-we-are\/valuing-difference.html\">leftist<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.statestreet.com\/cn\/en\/insights\/unbreakable-pride-unshakeable-power\">ideology<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The GSA club at Carmel High School ran the sixth annual Carmel Pride Festival Sunday. The <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/20260625151034\/https:\/\/www.indystar.com\/story\/entertainment\/events\/2025\/06\/23\/teen-led-carmel-pride-expects-record-attendance-in-2025-lgbtq-lgbt-june-month-hamilton-county\/84165471007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">staff<\/a> members for the event were primarily youths aged 12 to 18, along with a small board of adults, and Carmel Pride\u2019s website indicates the lion\u2019s share of the funding for this event came from It Gets Better and the big companies behind them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Federalist asked Est\u00e9e Lauder Companies and American Eagle about their giving to It Gets Better and the potential of children being exposed to sexual material at \u201cpride\u201d events funded by It Gets Better, but did not receive a response. The Federalist contacted Carmel Clay Schools to inquire why it allows a sex-themed club for minors and requested a comment from Carmel Pride on whether it has any policies to reduce minors\u2019 exposure to sexual content at its events.
