Gallego&#8217;s spokesperson criticized the investigation as politically motivated adn alleged it was driven by President Trump\u2019s Department of justice targeting him. Prior scrutiny began in April when Rep. Anna Paulina Luna accused Gallego of misuse of campaign funds and inappropriate conduct, but the Senate Ethics Committee dismissed those allegations after investigation. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) filed a complaint with the Senate Ethics Committee, accusing the senator of campaign finance violations and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-truth-about-hunter-bidens-laptop\/\" title=\"The Truth About Hunter Biden\u2019s Laptop\">inappropriate sexual activity<\/a> toward several women.
