Trump and Epstein knew each other at that time, but the two later had a falling-out. The president has repeatedly denied wrongdoing related to the late convicted sex offender.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In granting the preliminary injunction, the Clinton-appointed judge denied the federal government\u2019s request for a stay. This has angered certain lawmakers in Congress, particularly Reps. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/thomas-massie\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"17668\">Thomas Massie<\/a> (R-KY) and <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/ro-khanna\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"5039\">Ro Khanna<\/a> (D-CA), who spearheaded the bill that mandated disclosure from the start.
