He expressed that gas prices should be around $2.25 per gallon but are currently higher, and accused these firms of profiting from the Iran conflict, which has driven global oil prices up. Even though US gas prices have decreased too about $3.93 per gallon following the MOU and Iran reopening the Strait of Hormuz, trump argued that prices at the pump remain disproportionately high.
