Gov. Pamela Evette in a runoff election. Wilson secured approximately 65.8% of the vote, overturning Evette&#8217;s earlier primary lead and gaining support after endorsements from Trump, Nancy Mace, and Ralph Norman. The campaign was competitive, featuring a heated debate over issues like casinos and gambling, with Wilson advocating an anti-gambling stance and Evette emphasizing voter input.
