Anything less than this is insane!<\/p>\n<p>Multiple people from USAID have been charged by the Justice Department with stealing money.\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/a6IyHi7mNI\">https:\/\/t.co\/a6IyHi7mNI<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Elon Musk (@elonmusk) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/elonmusk\/status\/2069108349656834236?\">June 22, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/elon-musk-unleashes-big-beautiful-bill-just-cant-stand-anymore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Musk<\/a>, of course, broke with the Trump administration in the spring and summer of 2025 over what Musk perceived as a betrayal of DOGE principles in the president\u2019s \u201cBig Beautiful Bill.\u201d The two have since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-brings-secret-weapons-high-stakes-china-visit-elon-musk-powerful-execs-pack-air-force-one\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">quietly reconciled<\/a>, at least to a degree.<\/p>\n<p>No one, however, should forget how <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/amid-dem-outrage-usaid-ernst-sets-record-straight-potentially-shuttered-agency\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Democrats squealed<\/a> when DOGE targeted USAID in February 2025.<\/p>\n<p>While speaking to reporters following his confirmation as Health and Human Services Secretary that same month, former Democrat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/god-working-days-trump-took-office-rfk-jrs-running-mate-came-know-jesus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/a> correctly described USAID as a \u201csinister\u201d agency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt has been captured by the military-industrial complex,\u201d Kennedy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/congress\/senate-votes-confirm-robert-f-kennedy-jr-health-secretary-rcna191856\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said of USAID<\/a> in Trump\u2019s presence, according to NBC News. \u201cIt has become a sinister propagator of totalitarianism across \u2014 and war \u2014 across the globe. And very few people understand how sinister this agency really is.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, liberals like Khanna and Welch still apparently believe that USAID prioritized feeding hungry children. Or at least they say that they believe it. Perhaps they merely find the lie useful.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, we have since learned that DOGE\u2019s crusade against government fraud revealed only the iceberg\u2019s tip.<\/p>\n<p>In December, for instance, YouTuber <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/youtuber-nick-shirley-exposes-alleged-somali-daycare-center-reportedly-reaped-4000000-taxpayers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nick Shirley<\/a> uncovered massive amounts of fraud in Minnesota\u2019s Somali immigrant community. Partly in response to that revelation, Trump tapped Vice President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/vance-task-force-says-recovered-fraud-losses-help-balance-federal-budget\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">J.D. Vance<\/a> to head a national fraud task force.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, we do not even need investigations to reveal the scope of federal fraud. We only need to look at Washington, D.C., which boasts <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/americas-15-wealthiest-counties-voted-2024-presidential-election-tells-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">America\u2019s wealthiest suburbs<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, the Khannas and Welches of the world will tell us that government spending prevents children from starving. But in fact, it only seems to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/doge-investigate-bureaucrats-become-wealthy-positions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">enrich liberal bureaucrats<\/a>.
