The judge, Tony Graf, also rejected the request to exclude hearsay evidence, stating that early hearings are focused on probable cause and that such evidence is permissible for that purpose. Robinson&#8217;s lawyers have filed a motion to sanction prosecutors over comments made to the media, potentially affecting the death penalty option, but no ruling has been issued yet. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 6-10, wiht prosecutors having granted Twiggs limited immunity for his recorded statement. The Utah judge said he would issue a ruling on that motion on Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The preliminary hearing ahead of the murder trial is scheduled for July 6 to 10.
