Iran <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/energy-and-environment\/4497440\/strikes-qatari-lng-facilities-threaten-global-supply\/\">struck the Ras Laffan Industrial City<\/a> in mid-March after Israel hit Iran\u2019s <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/world\/4516846\/israel-hits-south-pars-natural-gas-field-trump-deadline-looms\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"4516846\">South Pars gas field<\/a>. At the time, al Kaabi said the Ras Laffan attack impacted 17% of its export capacity and cost QatarEnergy about $20 billion in annual revenue, though production was already halted at the facility due to the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/strait-of-hormuz\/\">Strait of Hormuz\u2019s<\/a> closure.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al Kaabi said during the Monday press conference that the 13 dead include Indian and Pakistani workers at the facility.
