Rubio, who has been deeply involved in Iranian negotiations since february, showed signs of discomfort regarding the final Iran deal, which seems to contradict his usual hawkish stance against Iran. Despite his longstanding position on Iran,Rubio has not publicly endorsed the agreement, and his demeanor at the summit suggested he was unhappy with how the negotiations unfolded.Meanwhile, Trump’s administration, led by Vice President Vance and other officials, worked towards finalizing the Iran peace plan, which includes mechanisms for economic benefits in exchange for Iran’s compliance. Vance took the lead in addressing the media about the deal, emphasizing its potential for transforming international relations. The deal’s details are already signed, but the exact timing of the official in-person signing remains uncertain, partly due to logistical challenges related to Iran’s travel restrictions caused by ongoing conflicts.
