Most of the suspects are already in custody.They <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/doj-announces-charges-against-3-chinese-men-accused-of-trying-to-smuggle-nvidia-chips-out-of-u-s\/\" title=\"DOJ Announces Charges Against 3 Chinese Men Accused of Trying to Smuggle Nvidia Chips Out of U.S.\">face charges including conspiracy<\/a> to impede federal officers, assault, stalking, solicitation of violence, and destruction of government property. The group, known as Twin Cities Direct Action (later renamed Direct Action Minnesota or DAMN), engaged in training members in the use of shields, surveillance, and rapid response tactics to block immigration raids and deportations. the indictment describes how members operated in sub-groups like Black Cat Worker\u2019s Collective and Ray Rainbolt Memorial Shooting Club, which promote militant tactics and community self-defense, respectively. They coordinated their actions through communication networks and real-time tracking, often working to intercept federal agents. The charges follow violent protests against Operation Metro Surge, a mass deportation initiative, reflecting the far-left&#8217;s aggressive opposition to law enforcement activities.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The Department of Justice announced charges on Tuesday against 15 anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) militants, who are allegedly part of an Antifa-tied group in Minnesota.<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota U.S. Attorney Daniel Rosen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/dhs-antifa-cells-minnesota-ice-doj-charges-minneapolis-12079686\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.courtlistener.com\/docket\/73489496\/1\/united-states-v-sant\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">charges<\/a> include interfering with federal agents, \u201cstalking, assault, and threatening officers,\u201d adding that 13 of 15 of the militants are already in custody, Newsweek reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSuch stalking and other direct actions against law enforcement are criminal. They\u2019re un-American, and they\u2019ll be met with swift justice. That\u2019s why we\u2019re here today,\u201d Rosen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/dhs-antifa-cells-minnesota-ice-doj-charges-minneapolis-12079686\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> at a press conference. \u201cTo those who choose to threaten or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/minneapolis-antifa-network-charged-with-conspiracy-to-target-immigration-officers\/\" title=\"Minneapolis antifa network charged with conspiracy to target immigration officers\">harm federal officers<\/a>, we will hold you accountable. We will defend federal officers. We will protect the public. We will enforce the law.<em>\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n<p>All 15 militants were charged with conspiracy to impede or injure a federal officer, with some having an additional charge like interstate stalking, solicitation to commit a crime of violence, assault on a federal officer (with a dangerous weapon), and destruction of government property.<\/p>\n<p>Rosen also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox9.com\/news\/prosecutors-announce-charges-against-antifa-groups-minnesota-ice-protests\">accused<\/a> the militants of training members in the \u201caggressive use of shields against law enforcement, surveillance, operational planning, and rapid mobilization against law enforcement actions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>All of the defendants were allegedly associated with a group called Twin Cities Direct Action, which changed its name to Direct Action Minnesota (DAMN). The group is \u201cdedicated and committed to direct action against federal law and immigration enforcement,\u201d the unsealed indictment states, noting that \u201c[d]irect action refers to disruptive and obstructive tactics used by participants to forcibly challenge, block, or stop immigration raids, detentions, and deportations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDAMN describes itself as, \u2018\u2026as a decentralized coalition of working-class people engaged in various forms of community defense against the current Federal Occupation happening within the wider metro area, and against state and a far-right violence more broadly,&#8217;\u201d the indictment states. \u201cDAMN also trains its members in the use of shields against law enforcement, surveillance, event planning, role differentiation, and rapid mass mobilization against ICE enforcement actions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The indictment explains how DAMN is made up of members from \u201csub-groups,\u201d like the Black Cat Worker\u2019s Collective \u2014 whose members \u201cadvocate, promote, and utilize militant tactics and violence\u201d \u2014 and the Ray Rainbolt Memorial Shooting Club, which purportedly promotes \u201ccommunity self-defense.\u201d The indictment identifies both as \u201cAntifa affinity groups\u201d based in Minneapolis and also notes that DAMN has worked with Antifa-linked groups \u201cto plan for and execute certain direct actions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rosen also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/doj-charges-15-minneapolis-protesters-metro-surge-immigration-rcna350335\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">emphasized<\/a> the defendants\u2019 alleged Antifa ties.<\/p>\n<p>The indictment seems to confirm many of the tactics <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/02\/06\/checkpoints-and-street-corner-sentries-in-minneapolis-ice-hating-anarchists-are-an-occupying-force\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">observed<\/a> by The Federalist in Minneapolis earlier this year, such as the use of networks to drive militants toward law enforcement operations in order to disrupt and attack officers trying to do their jobs. Members of DAMN \u201cworked closely with rapid response networks \u2026 to identify and harass federal immigration and law enforcement officers in order to harass and prevent officers from performing their official duties,\u201d the indictment reads, noting that these networks are \u201cinherently militant\u201d and directly aimed at \u201ccombating and stopping a federal agent with a gun.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The indictment also details how DAMN militants use a Signal group chat that logs identifying information of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/minneapolis-prosecutors-charge-few-anti-ice-protesters-amid-mass-unrest\/\" title=\"Minneapolis prosecutors charge few anti-ICE protesters amid mass unrest\">federal immigration enforcement vehicles<\/a>, enabling them to track them throughout the city and place militants in their way.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>Once someone relays information about a federal immigration or law enforcement officer\u2019s location, \u201cdispatchers\u201d relay \u201cverified\u201d information to \u201ccommuters,\u201d who deploy to the identified area to interfere with, prevent, hinder, delay, impede, and directly confront federal immigration enforcement, <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >including \u201cde-arresting\u201d people<\/a> that federal law enforcement have arrested. \u201cCommuters\u201d follow federal immigration enforcement officers from locations \u2026 to the officers\u2019 residences and other locations. \u201cCommuters\u201d often work with \u201cco-pilots,\u201d who communicate with \u201cdispatchers\u201d in real-time. \u201cDispatchers\u201d relay identifying information about immigration and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/texas-law-enforcement-storm-border-with-scores-of-vehicles-secure-area-after-biden-failed\/\" title=\"Texas ... Storm Border With Scores Of Vehicles, Secure Area After Biden Failed\">law enforcement vehicles<\/a> to \u201ccommuters\u201d and \u201cco- pilots.\u201d DAMN members often engage in \u201ccommuting\u201d tactics with other members.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The indictments follows the far left\u2019s violent response to Operation Metro Surge, the mass deportation operation in the Twin Cities over the winter. Federal officers were met both with militants acting to thwart their lawful operations, as well Democrat politicians who encouraged violence against them.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>      Breccan F.
