Many applicants, some living in U.S. border states, believed they qualified under this rule, especially after being approved despite submitting questionable documentation like printed ancestry records. Following their approval, some <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >recipients received official notices demanding<\/a> the return of their citizenship certificates, citing insufficient proof. The revocation process was initiated after authorities identified instances of document fraud and confusion over acceptable proof methods.
