As an adopted child raised in a large Christian family, Bomberger grew up to become a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tebow-im-grateful-my-mom-gave-me-a-chance-at-life\/\" title=\"Tebow: I\u2019m grateful my mom gave me a chance at life\">pro-life advocate<\/a>, author, and public speaker. He emphasizes the inherent worth of every individual, nonetheless of perceived abilities, criticizing eugenic ideologies and the way mainstream media and some public figures promote attitudes that devalue people with disabilities. While serving in the military, Bomberger\u2019s mother, <a href=\"https:\/\/adoptedandloved.com\/ryan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sharon<\/a>, was raped and refused an abortion. Instead, she put her son up for adoption, \u201ca decision,\u201d Bomberger <a href=\"https:\/\/shouldhavebeenaborted.com\/portfolio\/thestory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>, \u201cthat has <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >caused beautiful generational reverberations<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The abortion industry often uses the horrible circumstances surrounding Bomberger\u2019s conception to justify abortion. Abortions from rape make up <a href=\"https:\/\/worldpopulationreview.com\/state-rankings\/abortions-due-to-rape-by-state\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1%<\/a> of cases, yet rape is often used by the left to show why the sprawling abortion industry must exist. As a child of rape, \u201cRyan knows firsthand what it means to be the inconvenient life,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/author\/mattkittle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Matt Kittle<\/a> said in an interview with Bomberger on <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iheart.com\/podcast\/426-the-vicki-mckenna-show-27246267\/episode\/vicki-mckenna-show-splc-spells-kkk-with-guest-host-matt-kittle-336501630\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Vicki McKenna Show<\/a><\/em>  on iHeartRadio. Yet Bomberger\u2019s mother chose life, allowing her son to grow into who he is today. \u201cHe is the counterargument to the death culture in America,\u201d Kittle said.<\/p>\n<p>In the interview, Bomberger said he was \u201cconceived in rape but adopted in love.\u201d His adoptive parents, Henry and Andrea, raised him, their two biological children, and ten other adopted children in their large Christian household of 15. Today, Bomberger is a father, husband, co-founder of the pro-life Radiance Foundation, an Emmy Award-winning creator, public speaker, writer, and author. He published his autobiography, <em>Should Have Been Aborted<\/em>, along with a documentary in May.<\/p>\n<p>The last chapter of his book details the experience that inspired him to write it: meeting his biological family. For years, Bomberger <a href=\"https:\/\/adoptedandloved.com\/ryan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">searched<\/a> for his biological mother, only to find that she had passed away. But he did find his biological aunt and the other members of his extended family. \u201cThey wanted to meet me; they wanted to know what happened to me,\u201d Bomberger said in the interview, \u201c[Which] is not the narrative the mainstream media ever wants to tell because it shreds their radical pro-abortion story that the only answer to something unplanned is \u2026 abortion, and there\u2019s another side to the story.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Although Bomberger has an impressive story, \u201cEven if I hadn\u2019t achieved anything in my life, I still have equal and inherent worth,\u201d he said. Bomberger mentioned in the interview that he grew up with siblings who had various disabilities and close friends with Down syndrome. \u201cThe idea that your perceived level of ability gives you worth is nonsense. It is a very eugenic \u2026 racist and elitist pseudo-science,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Bomberger sees eugenics recently promoted in the mainstream media with YouTuber <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/06\/05\/if-youll-give-your-dog-surgery-but-abort-your-baby-youre-a-horrible-person\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jesse Ridgway<\/a>, who posted on X earlier this month to explain why he aborted his child, which had received a diagnosis of Down Syndrome. Ridgway <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/McJuggerNuggets\/status\/2062315803177881822?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E2062315803177881822%7Ctwgr%5Ecb065d9611a1b8d88679586bcc8574cb2520c8d1%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fthefederalist.com%2F2026%2F06%2F05%2Fif-youll-give-your-dog-surgery-but-abort-your-baby-youre-a-horrible-person%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">believed<\/a> his child would be too \u201cdependent on others,\u201d and \u201cdidn\u2019t realize just how rough [Down syndrome] is for the child, let alone the family.\u201d To Bomberger, Ridgway\u2019s post actually states that \u201cthose with disabilities don\u2019t have equal worth,\u201d he said in the interview. \u201cIt is a very eugenic mindset, saying you can be well-born, you can be perfect. No one is perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Though, according to Ridgway, the child would be too dependent, \u201call of us are a burden to somebody \u2026 we are not self-sufficient from conception. We are all always dependent [on others] in some way, shape, or form,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Ridgways learned that their child could have Down Syndrome by taking a prenatal test. While these tests are \u201ca valid and pro-life tool, which should be used to allow families to medically and emotionally prepare for a child who has a diagnosis \u2026 it has been hijacked by a pro-abortion and eugenic mindset to kill anyone deemed \u2018defective\u2019 or \u2018unfit,&#8217;\u201d National Right to Life <a href=\"https:\/\/nrlc.org\/nrlnewstoday\/2026\/06\/popular-youtuber-announces-he-and-wife-aborted-baby-who-had-down-syndrome%c2%b7\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In Iceland, about 85 percent of women choose to get prenatal testing, and almost 100 percent of women who hear that their child may have Down Syndrome get an abortion.
