The terrorist group, a hand-in-glove affiliate of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has been pushed back from the south of the country. But Israeli leaders are not satisfied with routing Hezbollah from their border regions and show no signs of stopping their campaign despite international outcry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Israeli military bombed the environs of the Lebanese capital of Beirut on Sunday morning, just hours before Trump was set to announce the ceasefire plan. It came in response to a Hezbollah missile strike in northern Israel that missed its target. The president was furious at the Israeli government\u2019s reaction, which rescinded their previous promise to back off from attacking Beirut.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHezbollah fired and hit the middle of nowhere,\u201d Trump told Channel 12. \u201cAnd then he had to do this f***ing attack \u2014 and in Beirut. It made me very angry.\u201d Trump said Netanyahu showed \u201cno f***ing judgement\u201d in his decision-making and he \u201ccouldn\u2019t believe this was happening.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pakistan announced Monday local time that the ceasefire agreement included \u201cthe immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts, including in Lebanon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One Israeli Cabinet official <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/faytuksnetwork\/status\/2066209994270245219?s=46\">told Channel 12<\/a> that \u201cwe must not agree to the Iranian equation, even at the cost of a severe confrontation with the U.S.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/world\/4608349\/trump-says-netanyahu-should-be-thankful-iran-deal\/\">TRUMP SAYS NETANYAHU SHOULD BE THANKFUL FOR IRAN DEAL: \u2018A VERY DIFFICULT GUY\u2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The prospect of a forced end to the Lebanon campaign could have severe ramifications for Netanyahu and his allies at home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThere has never, ever, been a more absolute failure than Netanyahu\u2019s diplomatic failure on the Iranian front,\u201d Opposition leader Yair Lapid said, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.timesofisrael.com\/israel-vows-to-stay-in-south-lebanon-if-iran-strikes-well-hit-it-with-full-force\/\">according to the <em>Times of Israel<\/em>.<\/a> \u201cThe State of Israel won the battle; Netanyahu lost the war.
