This phrase was vindicated on Tuesday after Karmelo Anthony was <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/crime\/4601382\/karmelo-anthony-guilty-verdict-austin-metcalf-murder\/\">convicted of murdering<\/a> Austin Metcalf. For one America, the sane America, this was the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/crime\/4598988\/joe-concha-karmelo-anthony-austin-metcalf-murder-case\/\">obvious verdict<\/a>. For the other America, the racist America, Anthony should have been acquitted and seen as the victim because he\u2019s black.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Anthony case is very simple: At a track meet, the young man entered the opposing team\u2019s tent while armed with a knife. When asked to move, he refused and made threats. When the hostile Anthony was physically confronted about being where he did not belong, he stabbed an innocent kid in the heart with a knife, leaving Metcalf to bleed to death in his twin brother Hunter\u2019s arms. Not according to the other America. Anthony, who should have received a life sentence if not the death penalty, received a lighter sentence compared to the 99-year sentence he faced at trial. He only received a 35-year sentence with parole eligibility halfway through. At the earliest, he\u2019ll be in his mid-thirties when he gets out \u2014 at the latest, his early fifties. Both brothers!\u201d Another said, \u201cThe only good cracker is a dead cracker!\u201d One Anthony supporter called the twins \u201cdomestic racist terrorists\u201d and blasted the \u201cwhite motherf******\u201d on the jury. The murderer\u2019s supporters raised over $600,000 on GiveSendGo for his family, with many donors commenting violent anti-white racist remarks. A community organizer in Dallas posted on Facebook, \u201cF*** it dig Austin Metcalf up and stab his a** again.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"wex-ad-wrap\" style=\"min-height:5px;\"><span class=\"wex-ad-label\" style=\"display:none;\">Advertisement<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-3182201-16\" data-wex-ad=\"art-dsk-inart-2\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of Anthony\u2019s supporters outside the court whined on camera, \u201cWhat do I tell my five boys? What do we do now!?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oh, the horror \u2014 you can\u2019t stab an innocent kid to death and get away with it just because you\u2019re black! How ever will society go on?<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For most of the country, murder is wrong regardless of which color is doing the murdering and which color is being murdered. For some, however, murder is justified or outright encouraged if the killer is black and the victim is white. Why is it that when a white person murders a black person in cold blood, you don\u2019t see crowds of people chanting in support of the murderer? It\u2019s because anti-black racism is so rare that left-wing groups such as the Southern Poverty Law Center have to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/op-eds\/4601192\/stop-subsidizing-splc-hate\/\">pay people <\/a>to engage in it.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wex-ad-wrap\" style=\"min-height:5px;\"><span class=\"wex-ad-label\" style=\"display:none;\">Advertisement<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-3182201-17\" data-wex-ad=\"art-dsk-inart-3\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yet anti-white racism is so pervasive among the other America that some people still think OJ Simpson was innocent despite 90% of the jurors allegedly only voting to acquit because he was black. CNN\u2019s Ashley Allison went as far as to say that Simpson \u201crepresented something for the black community in that moment, in that trial, particularly because there were two white people who have been killed and the history around how black people have been persecuted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">White people are 12 times <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/ucr.fbi.gov\/crime-in-the-u.s\/2019\/crime-in-the-u.s.-2019\/tables\/expanded-homicide-data-table-6.xls\">more likely<\/a> to be killed by a black person than the other way around, per capita. Yet when a white person kills a black person in self-defense or the defense of others, they\u2019re demonized (see <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3225650\/witnesses-daniel-penny-case-praise-actions-while-prosecutors-hint-racial-tensions\/\">Daniel Penny<\/a>). And when a black person murders a white person in cold blood, they\u2019re victimized or even celebrated.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/premium\/4503186\/some-lives-more-valuable-than-others-liberal-media-sheridan-gorman\/\">FOR THE LEFT, SOME LIVES ARE APPARENTLY MORE VALUABLE THAN OTHERS<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In her bewildering commentary on the matter, Crockett made the ridiculous claim that \u201cblack women live in agony every day that I promise the Metcalfs had never lived through.\u201d That\u2019s a perfect representation of how the other America thinks. They\u2019re so obsessed with race, <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/beltway-confidential\/4559690\/justin-pearson-melts-down-tennessee-redistricting\/\">fake victimhood<\/a>, and pretending to be oppressed that they\u2019ve become incapable of empathy toward people when it\u2019s not politically advantageous for them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When Martin Luther King Jr. coined the phrase \u201ctwo Americas,\u201d he was talking about one America living in prosperity and another living in systemic oppression. While that dichotomy is dead in the 21st century, another pair of Americas has taken its place. One represents the majority of Americans \u2014 black, white, and otherwise \u2014 who believe in justice and equality for all. The other America represents a loud minority that believes black people should be able to murder white people without facing repercussions.
