Though, he warned the Justice Department that if the effort is revived, he would take action-saying, \u201cDon\u2019t play possum with me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>leon said the administration\u2019s earlier promise to stop was the basis for his decision, but he expressed skepticism that President Trump\u2019s comments about <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >possibly needing approval<\/a> were sincere, suggesting they could be politically motivated. Bush appointee, shot down a watchdog\u2019s request on the grounds that the Trump administration was no longer pursuing the measure.
