U.S. Attorney Russ Ferguson said Brown will be hospitalized for treatment and medication for up to four months, after wich another hearing will assess whether he can regain competency. The prosecution expects his mental capacity may be restored and noted that the court can require medication if he refuses.<\/p>\n<p>During the competency hearing, the judge found Brown lacked the mental capacity to understand the legal proceedings. Zarutska\u2019s family expressed optimism that brown will ultimately be held accountable. Brown was arrested shortly thereafter. He faces federal and state charges for the murder.
