It\u2019s probably the biggest industry, maybe that we\u2019ve ever seen.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trump and <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/4594088\/trump-makes-splash-oval-office-chart-reflecting-pool-skyscrapers\/\">White House<\/a> officials did not specify which companies were included in the meeting with the president, with Trump simply telling reporters Friday that \u201call of them\u201d would attend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, Arnie Bellini, the founder and chairman of cybersecurity platform ConnectWise, told the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> that Anthropic, OpenAI, and SpaceXAI, the three leading American AI developers, had all volunteered to cooperate with the Trump administration as it relates to the AI executive order Trump signed earlier this week. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bellini argued that Trump\u2019s order limited regulation that could slow AI development while enticing companies to work with the government and, theoretically, advance the economic interests of the public.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe most beautiful thing is the major companies are complying,\u201d he said in an interview. \u201cOur lead in AI is now considered a national strategic asset.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt\u2019s more important than when everyone was racing to create the first nuclear bomb, right? Then we had the Manhattan Project. We need a Manhattan-like project, and I\u2019m seeing Trump putting that together,\u201d he continued. \u201cIf you\u2019re going to have one country lead the world, you\u2019re better off having the United States and China.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has previously floated granting Americans a financial stake in rapidly growing AI, but Trump shook off questions Friday about whether or not he was surprised to be in near agreement with the progressive lawmaker on the issue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cNo, actually,\u201d the president answered, \u201cWhen Bernie Sanders lost [in the 2016 Democratic presidential primary], you know that I got many of his people.
