Digwa stood over his victim, having lied about being the victim of a racist attack by Nowak.<\/p>\n<p>The moment encapsulated the two-tier police system the United Kingdom has become notorious for \u2014 treat white Brits one way, treat non-white non-Christians another way.<\/p>\n<p>For Digwa, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/crlpyw05l75o\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BBC<\/a> reported Tuesday he will serve a life sentence with a minimum of 21 years.<\/p>\n<p>Now, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itv.com\/news\/meridian\/2026-06-02\/three-southampton-family-members-appear-in-court-on-weapons-charges\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ITV News<\/a> has reported the Digwa family has also been in trouble with the law.<\/p>\n<p>Digwa, along with his father Moga Singh, 52, and Gurpreet Digwa, 27, face six counts of possessing an offensive weapon in a private place.<\/p>\n<p>The weapons listed were a baton, a machete, a flick knife, a sword, kusari, and knuckledusters.<\/p>\n<p>Defense attorney Harmail Gill asked to adjourn for a month so both the prosecution and the defense could consider the charges.<\/p>\n<p>Chair of the Magistrates Jennifer Pitt adjourned, deciding the brother and father could be released on unconditional bail while Digwa would remain behind bars after his murder conviction.<\/p>\n<p>Why would Pitt allow his family members to walk free with a slew of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrat-official-who-pulled-knife-on-trump-supporters-indicted-on-weapons-charges-media-tries-to-frame-him-as-victim\/\" title=\"Democrat Official Who Pulled Knife On Trump Supporters Indicted On Weapons Charges; Media Tries To Frame Him As Victim\">weapons charges<\/a> and with the events of December in mind?<\/p>\n<p>Keep in mind Digwa\u2019s mother, Kiran Kaur, was also found guilty of charges relating to the December murder.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/article\/cities\/chandigarh\/uk-southampton-student-henry-nowak-murder-vickrum-digwa-life-sentence-10720805\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Indian Express<\/a> reported that Kaur, a 53-year-old Indian national, was convicted of assisting an offender after helping her son hide the murder weapon, a kirpan knife that Digwa kept on his person as a Sikh.<\/p>\n<p>Backwards leftist thinking in the justice system only creates a less safe society.<\/p>\n<p>It is recklessness motivated by a warped compassion \u2014 compassion for the wrong people.<\/p>\n<p>Scottish economist Adam Smith said, \u201cMercy to the guilty is cruelty to the innocent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The truly humane thing to do \u2014 not simply in the case of the Digwa family but as a standard in the British legal system \u2014 would be to punish the guilty.
