That was the big thing,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tehran has technically long maintained it wouldn\u2019t obtain a nuclear weapon, with former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei issuing a fatwa against nuclear weapons in the 1990s. But Tehran\u2019s stance has remained somewhat ambiguous over the years. When asked about the report, including the direct quotes, the president surprised many by confirming it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI was a little bit perturbed at him, constantly fighting with Lebanon,\u201d Trump told the interviewer. \u201cAt some point I said, \u2018Bibi, we\u2019ve got to stop this.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >expletive-laden quotes<\/a> he confirmed, Trump maintained he wasn\u2019t angry at him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019ve worked very well together. I like Bibi a lot. I inherited the highest inflation in the history of our country,\u201d he said. \u201cBiden had like 9%-10% inflation, and I inherited that, and we have it way down. Trump weighed in on the drama in response to the interviewer bringing up an interview Pelley previously did with former President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cScott Pelley\u2019s got his own problems, he\u2019s terrible,\u201d the president said. \u201cLook, Scott Pelley\u2019s a stiff, and he\u2019s afraid, and he\u2019s part of this gang of crooked, stupid people that don\u2019t care about our country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI watched that interview.
