It recounts cellphone and video evidence, including Digwa striking Nowak <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-more-votes-than-voters-in-key-swing-states\/\" title=\"Trump: More Votes Than Voters in Key Swing States\">multiple times<\/a> while prosecutors allege the attacker had a knife displayed openly. The piece also focuses on what it characterizes as failures by authorities: it claims Nowak was arrested or mishandled despite repeatedly pleading for help and being told he was racist, and it highlights bodycam footage to argue he was denied timely assistance. <\/p>\n<p>From ther, the author uses Nowak\u2019s case to argue that British institutions and policing are overly concerned about avoiding accusations of racism, which they claim leads to neglect of violence and victim safety. The article links this theme to other allegations it cites-such as past \u201cgrooming gang\u201d scandals, arrests related to controversial speech, and Germany\u2019s New Year\u2019s Eve mass assaults-arguing that similar reluctance to discuss offenders\u2019 backgrounds has contributed to poor reporting and accountability. <\/p>\n<p>The piece extends the argument to the United States with reference to the killing of Laken Riley and claims critics of open-border policies are labeled xenophobic. it frames the central \u201cpattern\u201d as a culture of silencing or de-prioritizing discussion of immigration-related causes of crime, asserting that the real problem is institutional avoidance rather than the victims\u2019 suffering.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>An 18-year-old British boy was walking home from a pub in December when he was brutally stabbed by a Sikh man. Henry Nowak was mortally wounded, but what happened in the moments before he would ultimately succumb to his injuries is even more appalling. Police pinned Nowak down and began to handcuff him as he cried out for help all because his attacker accused him of racism.<\/p>\n<p>Video footage from Nowak\u2019s phone on December 3, 2025 shows him saying \u201cHello car\u201d as he walks, before singing to himself. Eventually, Vickrum Digwa is seen in the video walking away from Nowak, with Nowak heard saying \u201cInnit bad man, what bad man. You\u2019re a bad man, say you\u2019re a bad man, go on.\u201d Notably, prosecutors <a href=\"https:\/\/news.sky.com\/story\/student-stabbed-to-death-with-extremely-large-knife-after-night-out-with-football-team-in-southampton-court-told-13543982\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> Digwa was wearing his knife \u201copenly displayed over his clothing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Digwa replied \u201cI am a bad man.\u201d Digwa would then go on to stab Nowak five times, delivering a fatal chest wound.<\/p>\n<p>Digwa called his parents, who arrived prior to the police. Digwa\u2019s mother, Kiran Kaur, took and hid the murder weapon at home. Digwa\u2019s brother, Gurpreet Digwa, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/articles\/c775y853ydxo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">called authorities<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/uk.news.yahoo.com\/murderers-brother-made-racist-attack-161300215.html?guccounter=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told<\/a> the operator: \u201cWe\u2019ve just got attacked racially by some white person \u2026 He\u2019s physically attacked my brother, we\u2019re Sikhs, we wear a turban and he\u2019s just attacked my brother \u2026 He\u2019s verbally attacked my brother racially.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gurpreet told authorities that no weapons were involved and that he would not have \u201cthis as a regular occurrence\u201d (as if someone saying offensive things is grounds for murder whether it happens once or multiple times). <\/p>\n<p>And now, newly released bodycam footage shows Hampshire Police arriving and, after being told Nowak was racist and noticing Digwa\u2019s turban out of place, arrested Nowak. Video shows officers holding down and arresting the bleeding and pleading Nowak. Nowak repeatedly begged for help and said he had been stabbed, with one office saying \u201cDon\u2019t think you have mate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nowak\u2019s last words were: \u201cPlease, brother, I can\u2019t breathe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a covertly recorded conversation in Punjabi, Digwa\u2019s brother old him to claim self-defense, but Digwa said if there were security cameras on the street then he could not claim self-defense, according to the judge\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailyecho.co.uk\/news\/26156611.judge-gives-reasons-21-year-southampton-murder-jail-term---full\/\">sentencing remarks<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That a Briton could be stabbed and then denied immediate and potentially lifesaving help because his murderer accused him of racism is an example of what is happening to the West on a mass scale due to Third World migration.<\/p>\n<p>The tragedy is not <em>just<\/em> that Nowak was brutally murdered. It is that the institutions \u2014 like police \u2014 charged with protecting their own people have been conditioned to treat accusations of racism as a matter of priority even when someone is laying out on the sidewalk bleeding to death. <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not just seen in this murder case, either. For decades, mostly Muslim Pakistani migrants preyed on thousands of English girls, grooming and sexually assaulting them. Much like the murder of Nowak \u2014 where <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cops-erect-concrete-barrier-around-home-of-cop-who-shot-daunte-wright-as-protests-turn-violent-for-third-night\/\" title=\"Cops Erect Concrete Barrier Around Home Of Cop Who Shot Daunte Wright As Protests Turn Violent For Third Night\">police turned<\/a> a blind eye \u2014 British law enforcement \u201csystemically turned away from the victims and allowed them to suffer, all in the interest of \u2026 suppressing anti-immigration sentiments,\u201d as Auguste Meyrat <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/04\/22\/bothelfords-gone-takes-on-the-u-k-grooming-gangs-scandal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wrote<\/a> in these pages.<\/p>\n<p>The cover-up was part of a broader cultural shift in Britain in which free speech was heavily scrutinized if it was deemed to be racist or offensive. Police routinely arrest Britons for free speech that is \u201coffensive\u201d to Muslims \u2014 including the arrests of Paul Golding and Jayda Fransen for distributing leaflets during a trial of three Muslim men and a teenager who were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2018\/mar\/07\/britain-first-leaders-convicted-of-anti-muslim-hate-crimes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">convicted of rape<\/a>.  In another instance, police showed up to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/omg\/article-868703\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pete North\u2019s<\/a> home in 2025 after he posted a meme on X with various sayings such as \u201cF*ck Hamas, F*ck Palestine, F*ck Islam.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The message became clear for anyone, but especially to authorities, that being accused of racism, the greatest sin, is more dangerous to your career than failing to prevent violence. The grooming gangs exposed this, and Nowak\u2019s murder reaffirms this truth.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities in both cases feared being labeled racist or discriminatory, but what they should have feared was the systemic abuse of young girls or the death of a young boy.<\/p>\n<p>As Meyrat wrote, \u201cThe U.K. continues to spiral into a hopeless dystopia. What was once the global standard of civilization, order, and modernity is now a <a href=\"https:\/\/europeanconservative.com\/articles\/commentary\/the-uks-regime-is-not-anarcho-tyranny-its-worse-than-that\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">backwards anarcho-tyranny<\/a> riddled with slums, unassimilated third-world mobs, and incompetent authoritarian elites. Meanwhile, British natives are forced to accept their reduced conditions in silence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The reality extends beyond the U.K. On New Year\u2019s Eve in 2015 in Cologne, Germany, migrant men of North African and Arab descent sexually assaulted and robbed hundreds of women in and around the main train station and Cologne Cathedral. As the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dw.com\/en\/new-years-eve-in-cologne-5-years-after-the-mass-assaults\/a-56073007\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">outlet DW described<\/a> it, \u201cPacks of men were hunting down women, cornering many of them. There were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sexual-consent-app-idea-draws-criticism-in-australia\/\" title=\"Sexual Consent App Idea Draws Criticism In Australia\">sexual assaults<\/a>, rapes.\u201d In total, 1,210 criminal complaints were made. Nearly <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >half involved sexual assaults<\/a>, while rape or attempted rape accounted for 28 of the complaints, DW reported.<\/p>\n<p>Both the media and police \u201cwere accused of being too hesitant to report on the foreign citizenship of the suspects,\u201d DW reported. One year later, when police created a specialist team to avoid a repeat incident, it was lambasted for being racist after using \u201cNafris\u201d as an abbreviation for North Africans, according to DW.<\/p>\n<p>And right here in America \u2014 where countless Americans have been murdered by illegal aliens \u2014 Americans are being told that to discuss the underlying cause of these crimes \u2014 that is, Third World mass migration \u2014 is racist.<\/p>\n<p>Laken Riley went out for a jog in 2024, but a Venezuelan illegal alien, Jose Antonio Ibarra, beat her to death. Riley fought for her life for 18 minutes. In the aftermath of her brutal murder, the left claimed criticism of open-border policies and calls for the Laken Riley Act were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aclu.org\/press-releases\/aclu-responds-to-house-passage-of-h-r-29-the-laken-riley-act\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">xenophobic<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amnestyusa.org\/press-releases\/amnesty-international-usa-reaction-to-laken-riley-act\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">exploiting<\/a> a tragedy to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/news\/the-lede\/will-laken-rileys-murder-tip-georgia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">demonize<\/a> immigrants.<\/p>\n<p>Whether the victims are young boys just on a walk home, young girls exploited by grooming gangs, women assaulted in Germany, or Americans murdered by illegal aliens, the response from institutions has largely been to suppress anything that could be perceived by stupid activists as \u201cracist\u201d since, to them, racism is the ultimate sin.<\/p>\n<p>But maybe, just maybe, the greatest sin is looking the other way because they don\u2019t want to acknowledge the truth about Third Worlders.<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>      Brianna Lyman is an elections correspondent at The Federalist.
