the group says it is assembling potential plaintiffs and compares its Maryland and California counterparts, where second amendment organizations sued soon after similar \u201cGlock\u201d bans were enacted. Supporters of Connecticut\u2019s law claim the devices are used to illegally convert Glock pistols into fully automatic machine guns<\/a>, which federal law generally prohibits unless authorized and properly registered under the National Firearms Act. <\/p>\n
