Leyden included in the post what he described as \u201cpartial police audio\u201d of the emergency call to police to respond to the justice\u2019s home. <\/p>\n<p>Fairfax County, Virginia, police said the call came in on the department\u2019s non-emergency line. <\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Wednesday] evening at approximately 9:02 p.m., officers responded to a swatting call at the residence of U.S. Supreme Court Justice in Fairfax County,\u201d police said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/regulation\/court-battles\/5900372-justice-barrett-swatting-incident\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">press statement.<\/a> \u201cOfficers immediately coordinated with Supreme Court Police personnel assigned to the residence and quickly determined that the report was fictitious. The idea is to send police into a presumed serious emergency at a targeted location. The hope of a lot of \u201cswatting\u201d sickos is that their false report will trigger a deadly confrontation at the response site. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSwatting carries a substantial risk of physical harm and misallocated emergency resources. Victims may experience trauma, wrongful detention, or injury, while emergency services are diverted from legitimate needs,\u201d the National Association of Attorneys General <a href=\"https:\/\/www.naag.org\/attorney-general-journal\/the-escalating-threats-of-doxxing-and-swatting-an-analysis-of-recent-developments-and-legal-responses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">notes <\/a>on its website. <\/p>\n<p>Incidents of swatting and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dhs.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2024-01\/24_0117_ope_resources-for-individuals-on-the-threat-of-doxing-508.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">doxxing <\/a>\u2014 the malicious act of making widely available someone\u2019s phone number, home address and other personal information \u2014 have soared in recent years with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.connectwise.com\/blog\/ai-swatting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the assistance of AI <\/a>and other technologies. They have become favorite tools of left-wing political terrorists. <\/p>\n<p>Last year, Rep. Clay Higgins, R-La, chairman of the Subcommittee on Federal Law Enforcement, announced an <a href=\"https:\/\/oversight.house.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/2025-03-20-Higgins-to-DOJ-and-FBI-Swatting-Letter.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">investigation <\/a>into the growing number of swatting incidents \u201ctargeting individuals based on their political affiliation.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s all part of a surge in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gov-spencer-cox-has-spent-years-embracing-trans-ideology\/\" title=\"Gov. Spencer Cox Has Spent Years Embracing &#039;Trans&#039; Ideology\">leftist-led political violence<\/a> in the Trump era. Last fall, Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., a member of the Judiciary Committee, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.schmitt.senate.gov\/media\/press-releases\/senator-schmitt-calls-for-investigation-into-left-wing-violence\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">asked <\/a>the Department of Justice to investigate what has been described as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/09\/10\/a-ticking-time-bomb-charlie-kirk-warned-us-of-the-growing-violence-of-the-left\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the assassination culture,\u201d<\/a> with a focus on \u201ccatalogu[ing] not only incidents involving deaths but also attempts to intimidate and coerce people through mobs, street violence, doxxing, SWATting, and similar tactics.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>\u2018You Won\u2019t Know What Hit You\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>But perhaps we should have seen the wave of threats against the Supreme Court\u2019s majority years ago. Schumer certainly did. He predicted it. One might even say he called for it.<\/p>\n<p>In March 2020, Schumer stood outside the Supreme Court building with a throng of rabid abortion backers declaring that conservative justices would \u201cpay the price\u201d should they dare overturn the horrible law that was the <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> decision. The nearly 50-year-old ruling federalized the mass murder of the unborn. The New York Democrat specifically pointed his venom at Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won\u2019t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions,\u201d Schumer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rev.com\/transcripts\/chuck-schumer-pro-abortion-rally-speech-transcript-says-kavanaugh-gorsuch-will-pay-the-price\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">warned.<\/a> It turned out to be a political violence prophecy. <\/p>\n<p>After a draft of the <em>Roe<\/em>-ending <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scotusblog.com\/cases\/dobbs-v-jackson-womens-health-organization\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Dobbs v. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/em><\/a>  decision was leaked to and published by Politico in early May 2022, Schumer\u2019s \u201cwhirlwind\u201d was fully released. <\/p>\n<p>The unprecedented leak set off a wave of leftist protests and a literal firestorm of leftist-led violence. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/minnesota\/news\/hridindu-roychowdhury-firebombing-wisconsin-family-action-guilty-plea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Six days later<\/a> \u2014 on Mother\u2019s Day \u2014 a radical who was eventually arrested thanks to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/dna-burrito-used-to-charge-hridindu-sankar-roychowdhury-firebombing-anti-abortion-office-wisconsin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">half-eaten burrito <\/a>firebombed the Madison, Wisconsin, headquarters of <a href=\"https:\/\/wifamilyaction.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wisconsin Family Action<\/a>, a Christian pro-life, pro-family organization. <\/p>\n<p>As Federalist Editor-In-Chief Mollie Hemingway broke in her New York Times bestselling book <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Alito-Justice-Reshaped-Restored-Constitution\/dp\/1541607139\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Alito: The Justice Who Reshaped the Supreme Court and Restored the Constitution<\/em><\/a>, the court\u2019s three liberal justices abetted the violence by <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/04\/18\/explosive-report-as-dobbs-majority-faced-death-threats-liberal-justices-slow-walked-release\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">slow-walking <\/a>the release of the Dobbs decision, apparently for political advantage. The hope, Hemingway reported, was that enough conservative justices would cave to public pressure \u2014 or worse.<\/p>\n<p>They didn\u2019t. The price-paying, as Schumer threatened, picked up. <\/p>\n<h2>\u2018Heinous Threats\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>More than a month after the leak, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/opa\/pr\/nicholas-roske-sentenced-over-eight-years-prison-attempted-murder-supreme-court-justice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nicholas Roske<\/a>, 26 at the time, arrived at Justice Brett Kavanaugh\u2019s home with murder on his mind. In his possession were a Glock pistol, ammunition, zip ties, a tactical knife, pepper spray, a hammer, duct tape, and more accoutrements, according to the criminal complaint. Roske <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/10\/07\/congress-should-impeach-the-judge-who-gave-would-be-mass-scotus-assassin-just-eight-years\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> he was going to \u201cstop roe v wade from being overturned\u201d by getting rid of a judge \u2014 or three \u2014 who was poised to vote to stop the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/explosive-report-as-dobbs-majority-faced-death-threats-liberal-justices-slow-walked-release\/\" title=\"Report: Liberal ... Slow-Walked ... Release\">deeply flawed 1973 ruling legalizing abortion nationwide<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone knew that the leak posed a serious security risk for justices. Since decisions do not take effect until issued officially from the bench, the death of a justice before then could alter the result. The threat of assassination increased dramatically,\u201d Hemingway wrote. <\/p>\n<p>It took 53 days to finally release the Dobbs decision. Despite the growing threat to their colleagues, the liberals on the court refused to listen to urgent pleas to complete their work, Hemingway reported.<\/p>\n<p>A day after the threat to Kavanaugh and his family, a mob of protesters packed the street outside Barrett\u2019s home. The leftists clearly were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grassley.senate.gov\/news\/news-releases\/grassley-calls-on-justice-dept-to-enforce-law-and-protect-justices-as-white-house-remains-muted-on-threats-to-supreme-court\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">breaking federal law<\/a> regarding demonstrations at the homes of Supreme Court justices. President Joe Biden\u2019s team <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/opinion\/judiciary\/3483790-biden-encourages-people-to-violate-the-law-by-protesting-at-justices-homes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">encouraged it.<\/a> His justice-weaponizing henchman, Attorney General Merrick Garland, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grassley.senate.gov\/news\/news-releases\/grassley-portman-implore-doj-to-defend-supreme-court-justices-in-face-of-threats-violence-by-pro-abortion-extremists\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">did nothing<\/a> about the unrelenting threats. <\/p>\n<p>Leftist group <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/organization\/ruth-sent-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ruth Sent Us<\/a> and counterpart <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/for-profit\/vigil-for-democracy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vigil for Democracy <\/a>created and distributed a Google Maps graphic called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ewtnnews.com\/world\/us\/tiktok-lifts-ban-on-ruth-sent-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cExtremist Justices\u201d, <\/a>a doxxing campaign that sent radicals to the homes of Barrett, Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas, and Chief Justice John Roberts. <\/p>\n<figure>\n<p><span><\/p>\n<blockquote data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Protesters have now descended upon the home of Justice Amy Coney Barrett and her family, including seven children. This is just a day after the alleged attempted murder of her colleague, Justice Kavanaugh.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jonathan Turley (@JonathanTurley) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/JonathanTurley\/status\/1535046244095098890?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 9, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><\/span> <\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Earlier this year, an Alaska man <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/28030883-dalaska-3-24-cr-00099-acp-kfr-97-0\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pleaded <\/a>guilty to sending messages to the Supreme Court threatening to kill six justices. He was charged in September 2024 after firing out more than 450 \u201cheinous threats to murder and torture Supreme Court Justices and their families to retaliate against them for decisions he disagreed with,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/archives\/opa\/pr\/alaska-man-arrested-threatening-us-supreme-court-justices-their-family-members\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according to <\/a>the Department of Justice. The Alaska Beacon <a href=\"https:\/\/alaskabeacon.com\/briefs\/anchorage-man-set-to-plead-guilty-for-violent-threats-against-us-supreme-court-justices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported <\/a>that the man was registered as a nonpartisan voter and had donated around $800 to ActBlue, the Democrats\u2019 massive fundraising platform. <\/p>\n<p>Last year, Barrett\u2019s sister \u201cwas the target of a bomb threat\u201d at her South Carolina residence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCharleston police responded on March 10 to a politically charged email threat sent regarding Amanda Coney Williams,\u201d CNN r<a href=\"https:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/2025\/03\/12\/politics\/barrett-sister-bomb-threat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">eported <\/a>at the time. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve constructed a pipe bomb which I recently placed in Amy Coney Barrett\u2019s sister\u2019s mailbox at her home,\u201d the email threatened. \u201cThe device\u2019s detonation will be triggered as soon as the mailbox is next opened. Free Palestine!\u201d No pipe bomb was found. <\/p>\n<h2>\u2018Regarding the Incident\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>Since the Dobbs decision\u2019s release, the justices are supposed to be protected by around-the-clock security. <\/p>\n<p>The Federalist asked multiple times for a comment from the Supreme Court Public Information Office. Sheridan Watson, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/d-c-mayor-dodges-question-on-why-she-wont-allow-unvaccinated-black-students-in-schools-this-fall\/\" title=\"D.C. Mayor Dodges Question On Why She Won\u2019t Allow Unvaccinated Black Students In Schools This Fall\">deputy public information officer<\/a>, finally responded late Friday afternoon suggesting that The Federalist \u201cmay wish to contact the Fairfax County Police Department regarding the incident.\u201d Fairfax County Police could not be reached for comment Friday. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmarshals.gov\/what-we-do\/judicial-security\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">U.S. Marshals Service,<\/a> which assists in providing security to the justices, did not return a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/munitions-plant-explosion-devastates-tennessee-19-feared-dead\/\" title=\"Munitions Plant Explosion Devastates Tennessee, 19 Feared Dead\">phone call seeking comment<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>What about the guy who released \u201cthe whirlwind,\u201d threatening that conservative justices would \u201cpay the price\u201d for ruling against the left\u2019s wishes?
