The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control states that Uganda has already reported <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ecdc.europa.eu\/en\/ebola-outbreak-democratic-republic-congo-and-uganda#:~:text=As%20of%2029%20May%202026,cases%2C%20which%20included%20223%20deaths.\">nine confirmed cases<\/a> and one death, with three of these cases linked to travel from Congo. In Congo, the escalating outbreak has resulted in 906 suspected cases and 223 deaths.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-paywall\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UNICEF representative John Agbor said the situation \u201cremains highly concerning,\u201d and noted that the emergency supply shipment is a race against time.
