On Fox News\u2019s *Gutfeld!*, Pratt argued that his support comes from residents fed up with visible public disorder, and he dismissed celebrity endorsements as unnecessary, claiming he primarily wants \u201cmoms and animal lovers\u201d to vote for him.<\/p>\n<p>Pratt also renewed his criticism of incumbent Mayor Karen bass, linking his opposition to how her governance handled the 2025 palisades Fires.He claimed Bass\u2019s leadership worsened outcomes, including pointing to alleged decisions that reduced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/billionaires-buying-large-swathes-of-land-near-travis-air-force-base-unveil-plans-for-new-city\/\" title=\"Billionaires near Travis Air Force Base reveal city plans.\">wildfire protection<\/a> resources, and he questioned voters who say the fires were driven mainly by climate change rather than local policy and emergency response.<\/p>\n<p>The race appears very tight. The one-time reality star has garnered a lot of support over criticizing current Los Angeles Mayor <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/karen-bass\/\">Karen Bass<\/a> for government incompetence and hampering his message about quality of life issues. On Thursday, Pratt appeared on Fox News\u2019s <em>Gutfeld!, <\/em>and explained why he thought he had a realistic chance to be victorious. One of the reasons was his belief he was getting a lot of support from mothers concerned about safety issues while raising their children.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis is my favorite thing, the internet says \u2018they\u2019re like he\u2019s so big on the internet, but is he big on the streets?\u2019\u201d Pratt told host Greg Gutfeld. \u201cYes, the people I\u2019m surging with are the people having to step over the naked drug addicts and step into human poop to get their $20 matcha. He said they just want to be able to live in safe neighborhoods so they can raise their children in a good environment. <\/p>\n<div class=\"article-paywall\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe moms across Los Angeles who have to use their strollers around fentanyl needles and naked drug addict zombies with machetes that maybe will chop a limb off,\u201d Pratt said of his increase in support.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the main issues Pratt has focused on during his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dem-nyc-mayoral-candidate-stringer-accused-of-sexual-abuse\/\" title=\"Dem. NYC mayoral candidate stringer accused of sexual abuse\">mayoral campaign<\/a> were the Palisades Fires in 2025 which caused a significant amount of destruction in Southern California, particularly Los Angeles. It reportedly spread 37 square miles, damaging thousands of structures, one of which was Pratt\u2019s home. It is the most destructive wildfire to ever hit Los Angeles, according to reports. Pratt has blamed much of the destruction on Bass, claiming her incompetence led to damages being much worse than necessary. He did so again on <em>Gutfeld<\/em>! on Thursday night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIs anybody who was devastated by the fires still voting for Karen Bass, and what is wrong with them?\u201d Gutfeld asked Pratt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYeah, there\u2019s definitely lunatics. Their houses didn\u2019t burn down but they could have been saved by the U.S. Forest Service, who came in to save the day, Chief Bobby Garcia \u2026 but these people have convinced themselves the Palisades burned down because of climate change and these imaginary hurricane winds that did not exist. So for them, they go, \u2018Oh, it\u2019s the winds, and it was the climate change, that\u2019s what it was. It wasn\u2019t that Mayor Bass was drinking in Ghana and defunded the firefighters by the $17 million that the fire chief said we needed to keep everyone safe.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also accused Bass\u2019s administration of draining \u201cboth the reservoirs that were for wildfire protection.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSo, I don\u2019t know why that message isn\u2019t getting to them,\u201d Pratt told Gutfeld. \u201cSo I keep trying to say that out a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conversation returned to Pratt\u2019s supporters and his rise in the polls. Gutfeld mentioned the \u201csilent voter\u201d and celebrity supporters, some of whom have publicly supported Pratt in his campaign. According to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/story\/2026-05-28\/poll-shows-bass-raman-pratt-in-tight-race-for-mayor\">UC Berkeley-Los Angeles Times poll released on Thursday<\/a>, Bass maintains a slight lead over Pratt and the other main candidate in the race, Los Angeles city councilmember Nithya Raman. The poll has Bass at 26%, Raman at 25%, and Pratt at 22%.
