He agreed with Hewitt\u2019s view that Trump\u2019s push for all allies to join the Abraham Accords is \u201cbrilliant jiu jitsu,\u201d framing it as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/live-impeachment-updates-house-reconvenes-to-debate-trump-impeachment\/\" title=\"Live impeachment updates: House reconvenes to debate Trump impeachment\">political move<\/a> that caught skeptics off guard. I mean, obviously, the administration over the weekend coming up with the no-dust, no-dollars thing, says that there\u2019s not going to be any settlement at all unless Iran turns over the enriched uranium. I think Israel can do what it wants to do in Israel, in Lebanon,\u201d York said. \u201cBut it\u2019s part of, since they\u2019re our ally, in Iran, it\u2019s part of this whole deal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hewitt said that yesterday, President Donald Trump <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/foreign-policy\/4581144\/trump-requests-gulf-states-abraham-accords\/\">posted<\/a> that all of U.S. allies have to join the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.state.gov\/the-abraham-accords\">Abraham Accords<\/a>, adding that it\u2019s \u201cbrilliant jiu jitsu\u201d for the Gulf states that aren\u2019t already in the Abraham Accords to say, \u201cYou want our help, you\u2019re going to join the Abraham Accords.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">York agreed it was a brilliant stroke and that it set off the \u201c<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/congressional\/4557004\/byron-york-trump-derangement-syndrome-big-part-left-wing-senate-run\/\">Trump derangement syndrome<\/a>,\u201d saying, \u201cThey thought, well, Trump has messed this up.
