Her decision comes after Florida\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pelosi-who-claims-to-oppose-gerrymandering-funnels-300000-to-democratic-gerrymandering-group\/\" title=\"Pelosi, Who Claims to Oppose Gerrymandering, Funnels 0,000 to Democratic Gerrymandering Group\">congressional map<\/a> was redrawn, making her former district more competitive for a Republican challenger.  <\/p>\n<p>The move sparked criticism from both parties. Republicans, including the National Republican Congressional Committee, accused her of \u201cabandoning\u201d her home district to avoid defeat.
