Thomas Kean Jr. (R-NJ), who has been absent from the House since March due to an undisclosed illness, says his doctors are confident he will make a full recovery. In his first interview as the situation was reported, he said he expects to return to the House within a few weeks and plans to continue his reelection campaign.
