Jim Jordan (R-OH) said the House Judiciary Committee has issued a new subpoena tied to its inquiry of how <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wray-declines-to-confirm-fbis-use-of-geolocation-data-to-track-capitol-rioters-but-says-it-would-not-surprise-me\/\" title=\"Wray Declines to Confirm FBI\u2019s Use of Geolocation Data to Track ...ers But Says It \u2018Would Not Surprise Me\u2019\">confidential human sources<\/a> were used around the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot. He raised questions about whether any of those sources were paid by or had financial connections to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), and whether the Biden Justice Department coordinated or reimbursed sources across agencies and organizations.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan said lawmakers are trying to determine whether the \u201cconfidential human sources\u201d were properly authorized and whether any were \u201cdouble-dipping\u201d by receiving money from both the government and the SPLC. He also noted that four sources entered the Capitol and were reportedly not authorized to do so.<\/p>\n<p>The piece adds that the SPLC, founded in 1971, is a nonprofit focused on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nonprofit-responsible-for-canceling-dr-seuss-teams-up-with-google\/\" title=\"Nonprofit Responsible For Canceling Dr. Seuss Teams Up With Google\">fighting racial injustice<\/a> and white supremacy.
