Castro faces four counts of second-degree assault and one count of falsely reporting a crime. Prosecutors said Sosa-Celis was not a threat, and that federal officers don\u2019t have absolute immunity from state criminal charges.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting allegedly occurred on Jan.14 when Castro pursued another man and fired while people-including children-were inside a home. Both men were in the country illegally.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting occurred \u201cthrough the door of a home with many people, including children, inside, while fortunately missing several others,\u201d Moriarty said.<\/p>\n<p>After the shooting, federal authorities accused Sosa-Celis and Aljorna of beating an ICE officer with a broomstick or a snow shovel during the incident, but those charges were
