Stafford\u2019s wife and one other individual are currently adhering to quarantine procedures but remain asymptomatic.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-paywall\">\n<p>The diagnosis comes after the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/world-health-organization\/\">World Health Organization<\/a> declared <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/world\/4572175\/small-number-americans-affected-ebola-outbreak-congo\/\">a global emergency<\/a> over the weekend, as more than 250 cases and 88\u00a0deaths were linked to the virus. Most reported cases were in the DRC and Uganda.<\/p>\n<p>Serge\u2019s team base is located in Bunia, which is only 25 miles north of the epicenter of the outbreak in Mongwalu.
