The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Southern California in 2019, alleges the bank breached its contract by assessing excessive fees.<\/p>\n<p>Bank of America denies any wrongdoing. Notification may have been sent by email and\/or postcard. Class members will receive a proportional payout, though the estimated amount isn\u2019t yet clear.
