Anna Paulina Luna, a Republican from Florida, who warned the CIA that they could face a subpoena if the records were not returned.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsnationnow.com\/politics\/luna-threatens-subpoena-cia-mkultra-files\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NewsNation<\/a>, Luna said the agency would have 24 hours to hand the files back to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reason why this is troubling, there was an executive order that the president directed the full declassification of JFK,\u201d Luna told NewsNation\u2019s Katie Pavlich.<\/p>\n<p>She also noted that the CIA previously claimed all MKUltra documents had either been released or destroyed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, these are allegedly those documents that apparently never existed,\u201d Luna said.<\/p>\n<p>Luna also argued that the CIA has no authority to interfere with a presidential executive order.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe CIA does not have jurisdiction to work against an executive order by the president,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>NewsNation reported that the records are part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pressure-grows-on-biden-to-act-on-crisis-in-tibet\/\" title=\"Pressure Grows on Biden to Act on Crisis in Tibet\">broader efforts<\/a> to declassify files related to JFK, Robert F.
