Leave it to the Post to squeeze out another immigration narrative that completely skips over the reason Americans voted for mass deportations in favor of some sob story about the plight of illegals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/9-key-points-from-trump-campaign-press-conference-on-challenges-to-election-results\/\" title=\"9 Key Points from Trump Campaign Press Conference on Challenges to Election Results\">large number<\/a> of men being removed, in many cases, women have been left to provide for their families on their own,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/immigration\/interactive\/2026\/trump-deportations-ice-fathers-families\/?utm_campaign=wp_main&#038;utm_source=twitter&#038;utm_medium=social\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the article<\/a> that was bylined by a grand total of four content creators at the paper. \u201cIn interviews with The Post, three women and one man described how an ICE arrest has transformed their families. All spoke of disastrous emotional and financial repercussions.\u201d The article also observed that detention of <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >suspected illegal aliens \u201cimposes financial burdens<\/a> on families, from lost income and attorney fees.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-2447190808\" class=\"d-flex justify-content-center fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 fdrlst__b89e9-entity-placement\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Having your husband or baby daddy deported is no doubt highly inconvenient. It\u2019s inconvenient the same way it sucks to knowingly violate the speed limit in a rush and end up getting pulled over. And yet for some reason I\u2019ve never gotten out of a ticket by telling a cop that it\u2019s gonna hurt my wallet. <\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, it\u2019s my right to retain a lawyer who might be able to get the fine dropped or reduced, but that would be a personal choice of mine to spend that money, just as it\u2019s the choice of any given illegal alien to seek counsel in hopes of continuing to stay in the U.S. On the other hand, if I don\u2019t fight the charge, I don\u2019t have to pay any legal fees, and neither do illegal aliens resisting deportation. Tah-dah!<\/p>\n<p>But so long as we\u2019re talking about \u201cfinancial burdens,\u201d let\u2019s see what the data say about the price Americans pay for the failure of both Republicans and Democrats to properly manage who comes into this country. The Center for Immigration Studies, a nonprofit that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-dhs-telling-immigrant-parolees-to-self-deport-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Trump DHS telling immigrant parolees to self-deport - Washington Examiner\">supports restricting immigration<\/a>, found <a href=\"https:\/\/budget.house.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/the_cost_of_illegal_immigration_to_taxpayers.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in 2024<\/a> that American taxpayers dole out nearly $70,000 per illegal alien over a lifetime. With the CIS estimating at the time that there were roughly 13 million aliens in the U.S., that\u2019s just shy of a $1 trillion tax burden, which accounts for fairly low tax contributions by aliens relative to the government services they receive.<\/p>\n<p>The CIS said that almost 60 percent of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/illegal-aliens-milk-snap-for-taxpayer-funded-free-food\/\" title=\"... Milk SNAP For Taxpayer-Funded Free Food\">illegal alien-led households<\/a> use at least one welfare program. The nonprofit said in just one year, illegal aliens with children in the U.S. cost the American education system close to $70 billion. The Federation for American Immigration Reform, another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/unfair-woke-tech-company-slack-bans-conservative-group-from-platform\/\" title=\"UNFAIR: Woke Tech Company Slack Bans Conservative Group From Platform\">immigration restrictionist group<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/118\/meeting\/house\/117257\/witnesses\/HHRG-118-BU00-Wstate-KirchnerJ-20240508.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cited<\/a> that same number in 2024. FAIR determined that illegal aliens come at an annual cost of $22 billion in taxpayer-funded medical care.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, FAIR <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairus.org\/issue\/publications-resources\/fiscal-burden-illegal-immigration-united-states-taxpayers-2023\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">estimated<\/a> that the taxpayer cost per illegal alien increased by $35 billion over the course of five years, starting in 2017. Each individual American taxpayer shells out roughly $1,000 every year to cover the cost of illegal immigration, according to FAIR\u2019s 2023 numbers.<\/p>\n<p>That cost analysis is apparently of no concern to The Washington Post \u2014 and it says nothing of the countless murders and assaults incurred by Americans at the hands of illegal aliens <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/07\/10\/the-left-misrepresents-stats-to-deceptively-claim-illegals-are-less-likely-to-commit-crimes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">on a routine basis<\/a>.
