Jason Powell, meanwhile, received a letter notifying him that he had been removed from all of his committee assignments \u2014 no special House rule exceptions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wvlt.tv\/2026\/05\/12\/multiple-tn-democrats-stripped-all-committee-assignments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WVLT-TV<\/a> reports that Rep.
